56TH CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW JUDGE BIOGRAPHY - Mr Scott Wolfe (USA)
I have been an enthusiast in the sport of dogs since the mid 1970s. Although I have an appreciation of many breeds, my primary focus has been in the world of Poodles. I have been the breeder/exhibitor of over 50 champions, including National Specialty Variety, Group and Best in Show winners including the notable Ch. Pin Oak Notorious, BOV miniature PCA 1990, and Ch. Pin Oak Manchester BOS to BOV PCA 1989.
I discontinued breeding and showing dogs in the early 1990’s and did not return to the sport until 2007. My wife Lisa and I went to the Poodle Club of America (PCA) National Specialty that April primarily to visit with friends, however, it became much more than that and at this show I decided to renew my involvement in the world of dog shows. In the few short years I have been actively breeding again I have finished 10 additional champions.
As a judge I had the honor to judge the Miniature Variety at PCA in 2013. In 2008 I became involved with the PCA Judges Education Committee and helped to design the current Judges Education program. Beginning in 2009 and I have served as one of the presenters of the Judges Education seminar at the Poodle Club of America National Specialty.
